From within the frame, where do the actors project their gaze? What captivates their attention, beyond the limits set by their director on the fixity of their roles?
It is always possible for the public to imagine the next episode in the lives of the characters set before them, to take a stroll behind the scene, to seize the opportunity and make a ‘great escape’.
With this work, Jef Geys invites the viewer to shake up the stage by letting their imagination flow freely.
